Antonella Cariello is a Grants and Finance Officer at ILGA-Europe since November 2022, with previous experience as Operations Manager and Regional Program Officer for Europe at ESD Global Inc. from May 2020 to October 2022. Antonella served as Policy Research Officer for the European Student Think Tank, focusing on gender equality from October 2019 to September 2021, and worked as a SOGIESC researcher and consultant for Includovate. Other roles include Research Project Assistant at Tampere University in early 2020, Protection Officer and Gender Unit Researcher at GVC Italia, Project Manager Assistant at the Women's Alliance, and Youth Ambassador for The ONE Campaign, advocating for human rights. Antonella's educational background includes studies at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, Leiden University, Université Sorbonne Nouvelle, and Università degli Studi di Bari, with ongoing education in gender and institutions at Università degli Studi di Macerata.
