Shiva Kumar Karru has work experience in various engineering roles. Shiva Kumar started their career in 2019 as a Design Engineer in the Vehicle dynamics Department at Team Super Ignite, where they worked until March 2021. In January 2020, they were promoted to the role of Department Lead in the same department. In February and March 2021, they also completed an internship at Space Technology and Aeronautical Rocketry. Currently, they are working as a Junior Design Engineer at iLenSys Technologies Pvt Ltd, starting in September 2021.

Shiva Kumar Karru pursued their education chronologically, starting with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Government Polytechnic, Kataram. Shiva Kumar attended this institution from 2015 to 2018. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Guru Nanak Institutions (GNI) from 2018 to 2021.
