Max van der Meer is currently an Aspirant Team Manager in the ATMP program at IKEA since May 2022. In addition to retail experience as a sales associate in kitchen and bedroom departments, Max has been actively involved in the political party D66 since June 2014. Notable roles include campaign coordinator for various elections, communication board member, and a candidate for municipal council. Max also served as the Chair and Advisory Board member of the Ganymedes LGBT Students Association from September 2018 to September 2022 and has contributed as a guest speaker on LGBTQ+ topics for organizations like Stichting KEI and Amnesty International. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in History from Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen and previous studies at the University of Groningen and Utrecht University.
