Akihisa Watai has extensive experience in financial management and banking, serving as CFO and Secretary to the President at Internet Initiative Japan since August 1996. Prior to this role, Akihisa Watai was an Officer at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation from April 1989 to August 1996. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in fluid mechanics and mechanical engineering from Keio University, obtained between 1985 and 1989, as well as a high school diploma from 県立横須賀高等学校, completed from 1981 to 1984.
