Rupesh Vyas is an accomplished academic and professional in the fields of Information Design and Data Visualization, currently serving as an Associate Professor at Aalto University since August 2016. Vyas has held multiple prestigious positions, including Professor of Design Practice at Open Knowledge Finland and Board Member at the IIID International Institute for Information Design, where efforts focus on promoting Information Design in India. Prior to these roles, Vyas contributed to the National Institute of Design as Senior Faculty and mentored in Information and Digital Design. Vyas has a solid educational foundation, holding an MFA in Applied Arts from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, a certificate in Geoinformatics, and a certification for eligibility as a lecturer from the University Grants Commission.
