Alessandra Giuliani is a researcher at the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) since September 2011, specializing in Biodiversity within the Natural Resources Group, with a focus on the intersection of poverty reduction and biodiversity conservation. Prior to this role, Alessandra served as a consultant at IIED from July 2005 to July 2011. Academically, Alessandra holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Environment and Development from the University of Cambridge (2004-2005) and a Laurea in Environmental Science from the University of Parma, Italy (1996-2003).
