Alain Lafeuillade is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in infectious diseases and clinical research. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at the Institute of Human Virology, University of Maryland School of Medicine, since June 2011, Alain also holds positions as Co-Editor for HIV Clinical Trials and Chair of key workshops focusing on HIV persistence and emerging infectious diseases. Alain has been Head of the Clinical Department at CHITS since June 2000, overseeing the Department of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Research, and serves as Chief of Clinical Research and Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases at Toulon General Hospital, which includes significant responsibilities managing a large team and department budget. Alain's educational background includes degrees in Internal Medicine and a Doctorate in Medicine from Aix-Marseille University and the University of the Mediterranean.
