Kristine Crane has been working in the journalism and communications field since 2000. Kristine began their career as an intern at the Associated Press, followed by a news editor role at Oxford University Press in 2010. In 2012, they were a health/science reporter at The Gainesville Sun, and in 2014 they were a patient advice reporter at U.S. News & World Report. In 2015, they were a county government reporter at the Ocala Star-Banner and a writer/communications manager at IHMC. Since 2019, they have been an adjunct professor (journalism and Italian) at the University of Florida.
Kristine Crane attended Columbia University - Graduate School of Journalism from 2007 to 2008, where they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Science reporting. Kristine then attended Pacific University and earned a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in nonfiction writing. Kristine also attended the Writers Center, though no degree was earned.
