Abdullah Gulcan has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Abdullah started their career as an Assistant Expert at Ihlas Finance House in 1997. Abdullah then worked as an Analyst at Valley National Bank from 2000 to 2001. Abdullah continued their career at Sena Textile as a Market Research Analyst from 2007 to 2009. In 2009, they joined TFKB Türkiye Finans Katılım Bankası as an MT before moving to Turkish Ground Services Inc. as Chief in Finance & Budgeting and Reporting from 2010 to 2013. Abdullah then joined İhlas Holding, where they held the role of Strategic Planning Manager from 2013 to 2022 before becoming the Director of Strategic Planning & Performance in 2022.

Abdullah Gulcan completed a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Affairs at Istanbul University from 1994 to 1998. Abdullah then pursued further education at Rutgers University from 1999 to 2000. Later on, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General at New York Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2003.
