Debbie Male possesses extensive experience in the hospitality industry, currently serving as the Head of Sales Europe at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG®) since July 2004, where responsibilities include leading the strategic development of the Europe Sales Team to maximize revenue and market share. Previous roles at IHG included Director of Europe Sales, overseeing the establishment of a Key Account Management and New Business operation with a team managing over 300 key accounts. Prior to IHG, Debbie held the position of Director of Field Sales at Macdonald Hotels, leading a large sales team and collaborating closely with executive leadership. Early career experience includes roles as Area Sales Director at Forte Hotel Group, where management of multiple sales offices and key account relationships was emphasized. Additionally, Debbie's career began at Lakeside Hotel & Spa, progressing from a Receptionist to Conference Manager. Debbie holds an HND in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management/Business Studies from Blackpool College of Higher Education.
