Matthew SMITH WEST is an experienced business systems analyst with a diverse background in project management, software development, and team leadership. Currently serving as Principal Business Systems Analyst at IGT since February 2014, Matthew has played a key role in various analytical capacities. Prior experience includes marketing management at Loterías del Perú S.A., where Matthew led a team of 20 and developed sales performance measurement tools. Throughout a decade at The Forestry Corp., Matthew managed a multi-year aircraft and wildfire management system project as a team lead. Additional roles encompassed consulting, teaching assistance, and systems analysis within the lottery industry, focusing on software development and operational management. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in French and English Literature from Mount Allison University and pursued postgraduate studies at the University of Alberta.
