Hailey Kern, CPA has six years of professional experience, beginning in 2016. In 2016, they were the VP Operations for Alpha Chi Omega Fraternity, Inc., where they budgeted $3000 worth of chapter expenses for the on-campus sorority house. Hailey also fund raised $2000 and organized three chapter-wide dinners. That same year, they were an Actuary Intern at Wellington Insurance Group, where they created weekly insurance reports on Excel and SQL by manipulating big data. Hailey also analyzed product trends within Wellington and constructed three extensive rating algorithms on Excel that provided premium estimations for current and future insurance products. In 2017, they were a Business Developer at Kamozi Marketing Ltd., where they focused on building their social media brand image through creating content, building a Tumblr, and launching Pinterest ad campaigns. Hailey also conducted research for their pre-launch Kickstarter campaign through building in depth competitor analysis reports, compiling a list of PR sources, and helping design the product. In 2018, they were a Tax Intern at Deloitte. In 2019, they were a Senior Tax Consultant - International Tax, a Senior Tax Consultant - Global Employer Services, and a Tax Consultant - Global Employer Services at Deloitte. Currently, they are a Senior Fund Accountant at IGNITION PARTNERS.

Hailey Kern, CPA has an extensive educational background. Hailey holds a Master's degree in Accounting from the Texas Christian University - M.J. Neeley School of Business, which they obtained between 2018 and 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Entrepreneurial Management, and Actuarial Mathematics Minor between 2014 and 2018, also from the Texas Christian University - M.J. Neeley School of Business. Before that, they attended Jesuit High School Portland, Oregon from 2010 to 2014. In addition, they hold a Certified Public Accountant certification from the AICPA, which they obtained in June 2020, and a Microsoft Specialist Excel 2014 I and II certification.
