Gerard Karcher has been in the recruitment industry since 2021, when they began working as a Recruitment Specialist for Ignite Recruitment. Prior to that, they were an Onsite Property Manager at Villa Ramon Apartments from 2014 to 2021. From 1992 to 2014, they worked as a schoolteacher in various school districts in and around New York City, San Francisco and Ventura County CA. During this time, they took courses to further their education.

Gerard Karcher holds a Master of Science Degree in Social Studies Education from Long Island University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Political Science from Stony Brook University.
