Dr. Hendrik Schulenburg is a highly experienced expert in the field of chemistry and intellectual property, currently serving as a Patent Expert at the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property since April 2022 and as an R&D Consultant for Sensor Manufacturers at ChemSens Consulting since March 2021. Prior to these roles, Dr. Schulenburg took a sabbatical in Switzerland from October 2020 to February 2021, and has held significant positions including Head Of Development at Metrohm from June 2011 to September 2020, where oversight included a team of four scientists and engineers focused on developing a range of sensors. Other notable experiences include serving as a Research Chemist at the Paul Scherrer Institut PSI, where responsibilities encompassed supervising PhD students and conducting longevity studies, and previous research roles at METAKEM GmbH, Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung, INRS, and Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin, contributing to advancements in catalysis, electrochemical methods, and fuel cell technology.
