Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a comprehensive background in developing collaborative solutions and hardware for interactive educational devices. Currently at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has contributed significantly to the development of DViT (Digital Vision Touch) interactive whiteboards and flat panels. Prior experience includes roles as a firmware engineer at SMART Technologies, an electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, and as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, where circuit design and control systems for forestry equipment were key responsibilities. Chris holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
