Barbara Marcussen is an experienced investment professional currently serving as Investment Director at IFU since September 2019. Prior to this role, Barbara held multiple key positions at Oikocredit from February 2001 to August 2019, including Credit Operations Deputy Director and Manager of the Developing Market Team, focusing on building relationships with SMEs and agricultural businesses to foster sustainable growth in Africa and the MENA region. Additional experience includes serving as a board member for Terrafina Microfinance and Banco Oportunidade. Barbara is an IASSC Certified Green Beltâ„¢ and has completed certifications in SME Finance and International Business from recognized institutions such as Copenhagen Business School and Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
