Sofie Melis is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in ethics, compliance, and human resources across various international organizations. Currently serving as Director of Ethics & Compliance and HR at IFPMA since September 2016, Sofie's previous roles include leadership positions at the International Committee of the Red Cross and Biogen Idec, and a significant tenure at Eli Lilly and Company, where responsibilities encompassed anti-corruption due diligence and compliance policy development. Sofie holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Germanic languages and literature from the University of Antwerp and a Certified International Compliance & Ethics Professional designation. Currently, Sofie is pursuing a certificate in Strategies for Leadership from IMD.
