Emmanouil (Manolis) KARAMALIS has extensive experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, currently serving as Deputy Director of Value & Access at IFPMA since April 2023. Prior to this role, KARAMALIS held various leadership positions at Medtronic International in Switzerland for nearly 17 years, overseeing areas such as reimbursement, health economics, government affairs, market access, health technology assessment, and EU funds as Director for the EMEA region. KARAMALIS also served as Health Economics Manager at Novo Nordisk A/S, where responsibilities included the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, Asia, and South East Europe from September 2000 to July 2006, and began a career in health economics at Boehringer Ingelheim from April 1997 to August 2000.
