Abhijit Basak has a diverse work experience in finance and auditing. Abhijit started their career as a Management Trainee at Magma Fincorp Ltd, where they undertook on-site and off-site audits and reviewed loan files. Abhijit then joined IFB Industries Ltd, where they held various roles such as Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, and Head of Internal Audit. In these roles, they were involved in financial planning and analysis, pricing strategy, compliance management, cash flow management, internal financial controls, and risk-based audits. Abhijit has demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, business analysis, and delivering forecasted goals.

Abhijit Basak has a Chartered Accountant degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in Kolkata. During their studies, they focused on accounts, financial management, costing, direct and indirect taxes, and auditing. Abhijit also obtained a Company Secretary qualification from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Their earlier education took place at The Frank Anthony Public School in Kolkata.
