Hashir Ilyas has work experience as a GIS Developer at iFAST Corporation Ltd. where they developed GIS modules for the Ten Billion Tree Tsunami Programme (TBTTP) in Pakistan and created standard operating procedures for data acquisition. Hashir also served as a liaison between TBTTP and iFAST. Prior to this, they worked as a Web GIS Developer at MAPALYTICS, conducting research and development for the project "Digital Land Mapping for Large Real Estate Projects" that involved providing cutting-edge GIS features to the real estate sector. Hashir was responsible for tasks like 3D data visualization, construction tracking, and orthographic imagery. Before MAPALYTICS, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at Magma Systems from November 2015 to December 2018.

Hashir Ilyas obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Software Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST). Hashir completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Arid Agriculture University, starting in 2011 and finishing in 2015.
