Dr. Gabriel Uribe, DSW, has a diverse work experience. In 2022, they joined the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service as an LTJG - Scientist. Prior to this, they worked at IEHP, where they held various roles including Director of Community Health, Independent Living and Diversity Services Manager, Medicare Business Analyst, and Disability Community Representative from 2011 to 2020. Dr. Gabriel also served as an Adjunct Professor of Social Work at La Sierra University starting in 2019. Additionally, Dr. Uribe has been involved with the Inland Empire Disabilities Collaborative as President & Chairman since 2016. Before that, they worked as a Site Based Operations Manager at Partnership to Uplift Communities from 2009 to 2011, and as Deputy Director of Development and Program Supervisor at Best Buddies International from 2006 to 2009.
Dr. Gabriel Uribe, DSW, holds a Doctor of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California, which they obtained from 2018 to 2020. Dr. Gabriel also holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, obtained from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, Dr. Uribe has a Bachelor's degree in History from La Sierra University, earned from 2002 to 2006. Dr. Gabriel also possesses additional certifications including a Doctor of Social Work from the University of Southern California and a certification in Leading like a Futurist from LinkedIn, both obtained in 2020.
