Prof. Adamu Murtala Zungeru, SMIEEE, serves as the Associate Editor for IEEE Access since October 2021 and has been the Head of the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Telecommunications Engineering at Botswana International University of Science and Technology since June 2015. In addition to these roles, Prof. Zungeru has previously held several academic positions including Senior Lecturer at both Botswana International University of Science and Technology and Federal University of Technology, Minna, Nigeria, where over nine years were dedicated to teaching, research, and community development. Educational qualifications include a Research Fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a PhD from the University of Nottingham, an MSc from Ahmadu Bello University, and a B.Eng. from Federal University of Technology Minna. Prof. Zungeru also contributed as a Special Consultant for the Tunku Syed Razman Environmental Foundation in Malaysia, promoting green energy initiatives.
