Lauren Rubin, LMSW, has extensive experience in social work and community engagement, currently serving as the Philanthropic Advancement Senior Associate at Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit since October 2017, where responsibilities have included roles as Associate Director and Senior Associate for NEXTGen Detroit. Previous positions include NEXTGen Connect Coordinator and Employment Specialist at JVS Detroit, facilitating job-seeking programs, networking for employment opportunities, and leading workshops on various career-related topics. Earlier experience includes instructing yoga classes at YMCA of Metro Detroit and intern roles in fundraising and support services at Cancer Support Community of Ann Arbor and other organizations. Lauren holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Indiana University Bloomington.
