Anne Toomey McKenna is a distinguished legal professional with extensive experience in civil litigation, cyber law, and privacy law. Currently serving as a Visiting Professor of Law at the University of Richmond School of Law and an Affiliate Faculty and Professor in Practice at the Penn State Institute for Computational and Data Sciences, McKenna has held various leadership roles within the IEEE-USA AI Policy Committee, including serving as Co-Chair and Chair of the committee focused on privacy, equity, and justice in AI. As Principal Counsel at ToomeyMcKenna Law Group, LLC, McKenna represents clients in diverse civil litigation matters and advises organizations on legal compliance regarding technology use. With a robust academic background, including prior positions as a Distinguished Scholar of Cyber Law & Policy at Dickinson Law and Visiting Assistant Professor at Penn State Law, McKenna teaches core legal courses while incorporating topics relevant to cyber and privacy law, drawing on decades of litigation experience in various legal domains.
