Mustafa Üstüner is an Assistant Professor at Artvin Çoruh Üniversitesi since November 2021 and serves as an Associate Editor for the European Journal of Remote Sensing. Currently, Mustafa is actively involved with the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) as both a Conference & Symposia Liaison and as the Social Media Ambassador Lead. Previous experience includes a position as a Visiting PhD Student at Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena and as a Visiting Researcher at the University of South Florida. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Remote Sensing and GIS from Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi, an MS in Geomatic Engineering from the same institution, and a BA in Geomatics Engineering from Karadeniz Technical University, complemented by an Erasmus experience at the Vienna University of Technology.
