Jo Chong is an experienced software engineer currently serving as an Associate Software Engineer at IE since August 2023. Previously, Jo worked at Thoughtworks as a Software Development Consultant from August 2021 to March 2023, where contributions included refactoring a design system library for a major client to enhance user experience and developing web components and services. Jo’s career also includes roles as a Salesforce/Web Developer at Mav3rik, focusing on Salesforce.com and web development projects, and as a Junior Developer at Inkerz Global, responsible for testing and documentation, with an introduction to React. Earlier experience as a Research and Development Assistant at Zaixing Electronics involved managing seasonal product production for Walmart and facilitating interdepartmental communication. Jo holds a Master of Information and Communications Technology from Western Sydney University, a Graduate Degree in Computing from UNSW, and a Bachelor of Computer Science focusing on Games, Graphics, and Multimedia from RMIT University.
