John Everson is an accomplished author and publisher with extensive experience in the horror and dark fantasy genres. Since 2017, John has been an author for Flame Tree Publishing Ltd, contributing notable works such as THE HOUSE BY THE CEMETERY and THE DEVIL'S EQUINOX. In addition to this role, John has been the founder and publisher of Dark Arts Books since 2006, known for producing acclaimed anthologies that have received nominations, like the Bram Stoker Award Finalist LIKE A CHINESE TATTOO. As a contributing author with IDW Publishing, John has worked on the V-WARS series. John also has a long-standing association with Necro Publications, serving as an author and proofreader, and has published numerous novels through other prominent publishers including Samhain Publishing and Delirium Books. John's career in writing began with a tenure as a music columnist for Star Newspapers, complemented by a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
