Pia Richardson is a seasoned professional currently serving as the Head of the Executive Office at the International Development Law Organization (IDLO) since September 2011. In this role, Pia oversees the daily operations of the front office and manages external relations, providing strategic advice to the Director-General on various critical issues. Pia previously held positions as Special Assistant to the Director-General, where responsibilities included office management and team coordination, and as a Communications Consultant, managing the Communications unit and enhancing organizational visibility. Earlier experience includes a role at the European Commission - ECHO, focusing on communications and event planning for humanitarian crises, and serving as a Communication Consultant at Palazzo del Freddo. Pia holds an MPhil in International Relations from the University of Cambridge and a BA in History and Modern Languages from the University of Sussex.
