Saumit Dey is a Senior Software Engineer II at ST Engineering iDirect, with experience dating back to June 2016, where responsibilities include developing web solutions in JavaScript, implementing REST APIs with NodeJS, and conducting front-end unit tests using JasmineJS and Protractor. Prior to this role, Saumit completed an internship at the same company in mid-2015, focusing on a testcase executor tool for CubeSat Solar Array simulations using Python. Earlier experience at Wipro Technologies from September 2010 to June 2014 involved working as a Project Engineer on Ericsson’s XMATE project, where Saumit managed the complete SDLC for new features. Saumit holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from San Jose State University and a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
