Kathy Calvin is a UN Foundation Board member whose career has spanned work in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. She most recently led the UN Foundation in its work supporting global cooperation and multilateral problem solving for more than 16 years before retiring in 2020. In the 1980s, she served as press secretary for Senator Gary Hart in his Senate office and first Presidential campaign. She was also a top executive at U.S. News and World Report and was Chief Communications Officer for AOL and the then President of the AOL Time Warner Foundation. Throughout her career, Kathy has taken an active role in a range of philanthropic activities and has been a champion for the inclusion of women at all levels and in all sectors.
