Kirsty Amland has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Kirsty is currently the Director of Sales & Marketing at IDE Group, where they oversee the sales and marketing activities. Prior to that, Kirsty served as the Business Unit Director at IDE Group.
Before joining IDE Group, Kirsty worked at Meta Medtech Consulting as a Principal Consultant. In this role, they assisted clients in commercializing medical technologies and products, conducting market assessments, competitor analysis, and developing commercialization plans.

Kirsty formulated strategies and managed marketing activities for the Mentor plastic surgery portfolio, achieved revenue growth, and successfully launched a human biologic for breast reconstruction. Kirsty also managed B2B and B2C marketing for the weight loss surgery portfolio at Ethicon Endosurgery, delivering double-digit revenue growth. Kirsty implemented marketing campaigns to increase consumer awareness and designed GP education campaigns to increase referrals.
Kirsty started their career as an Equity Research Analyst at Wilson HTM, providing coverage on healthcare and biotech securities. Kirsty also worked briefly as a Portfolio Analyst at AG Edwards & Sons.

Kirsty Amland completed their Bachelor of Science in Business & Administration with a focus on International Business, Honors at Saint Louis University from 1995 to 1999. From 2005 to 2010, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Masters of Business Administration at AGSM @ UNSW Business School.
