Chitwan Saharia is a co-founder of Ideogram since December 2022, with a robust background in research and software engineering. Prior to this role, Chitwan served as a Senior Research Scientist and held several engineering positions at Google from October 2019 to December 2022. Experience includes a research assistant position at the Montreal Institute for Learning Algorithms (MILA) in 2018, where Chitwan focused on grounded language learning and hierarchical task learning. Chitwan also held teaching assistant roles at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, from January 2017 to May 2018, supporting large groups of undergraduate students in computer programming and object-oriented programming. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, obtained in 2019.
