Scott Wattie is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the IoT, security, and AI industries. As Co-Founder and Group Commercial Director of iDefigo Group since 2008, Scott has played a key role in enabling asset protection and monitoring on a global scale. Prior to this, Scott served as President of the New Zealand Wireless Forum, co-founding the national industry association and overseeing sector education, events, and finance. Scott's career includes significant positions at Bulletin.Net as VP Marketing, Latitude Consulting Limited as Principal, Telecom New Zealand as Wireless Industry Development Manager, and Strategic Business Innovations as Director of Marketing and Support. Scott's early career involved software engineering and analysis at Peace Software. Scott holds a BCom in Management Science & Information Systems and a BSc in Computer Science from The University of Auckland.
