Carol Walton is a seasoned program manager with extensive experience in community engagement and support services. Currently at Idealist since February 2018, Carol developed the Idealist Action Incubator, overseeing operations, volunteer recruitment and training, workshop curriculum development, and participant mentoring. Previously, Carol served as an Online Community Organizer, managing online discussions and coordinating numerous volunteer engagements and events. At Children's Aid, Carol guided high school students through the college application process and organized workshops and trips. Earlier experience as a Case Manager at Volunteers of America-Greater New York involved providing counseling and support for clients in achieving independent living. Carol holds a Master of Arts in Counselor Education from Mercy University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hunter College.
