Steven Aviani has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Steven started their career as an intern at NYC Business Integrity Commission in 2011 and then interned at the New York City Police Department in 2012. In 2013, they gained further experience as an intern at the U.S. Postal Inspection Service. Moving into the private sector, Aviani joined JPMorgan Chase & Co. in 2014 as a Senior Associate. Steven then transitioned to Credit Suisse in 2017, where they served as an Assistant Vice President until 2019. From 2019 to 2022, Aviani worked as a Senior Consultant at K2 Integrity. Their most recent position is as Vice President at IDB Bank, which they joined in 2022.

Steven Aviani attended Cornell University, where they completed a FinTech Program. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from John Jay College (CUNY). Steven furthered their education at John Jay College (CUNY) by earning a Master of Public Administration degree with a focus on Operations Management and Supervision. In 2022, they also obtained a certification as a Sanctions Risk Management Specialist from K2 Integrity.
