Melissa O'Connor has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Melissa currently serves as a Steering Committee Member at the Learnovate Centre, Trinity College Dublin, where they contribute to industry-led research in learning technology and the future of work and learning. Prior to this, Melissa held various roles at IDA Ireland, including Vice President Content, Consumer & Business Services, Manager Emerging Business, Senior Business Development Manager, New Business Development Manager, and Project Executive. Melissa also worked as an Account Manager at Lucent Technologies and as a DMD Sales at Oracle.

Melissa O'Connor obtained a Master of Science degree in Strategic Management from Technological University Dublin between 2000 and 2002. Melissa also earned a Bachelor of Business Studies degree with a specialization in International Business Studies & Languages from Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology. Additionally, Melissa holds a diploma in International Marketing & Languages from the Institute of Technology, Sligo. The specific start and end years for the latter two degrees are not provided.
