Almatkhan Kuanyshkereyev has five years of work experience. From 2019 to present, they have been the Lead Cyber Security Engineer at ID Ward. From 2018 to 2019, they were the Senior Manager Information Security at Sovereign Wealth Fund Samruk-Kazyna. From 2017 to 2018, they were the Senior Engineer at KazMunaiGas Exploration Production and a Software Developer while self-employed. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2017, they were an IT Consultant at KPMG.

Almatkhan Kuanyshkereyev attended Bellerbys College from 2011 to 2012, where they earned a Foundation degree in Information Technology. Almatkhan then went on to the University of Southampton from 2012 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Computer Software Engineering.
