Colton Jenkins has a diverse work experience in the tech industry. Colton is currently working as a Tech Lead at ID.me since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Cisco from 2016 to 2022, where they held the role of Technical Lead. At Cisco, Colton was responsible for assisting with consolidation efforts around API portal/gateway management and leading the construction of an API management portal. Before Cisco, they worked as a Ruby on Rails Developer at Smashing Boxes from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Technology at HRAnswerLink from 2012 to 2014 and Web Technologist from 2011 to 2012. Colton also gained experience as a Technical Support Representative Tier II at Insight Communications from 2010 to 2011 and as an iPhone Tier II Advisor at ICT Group from 2009 to 2010.

Colton Jenkins completed their bachelor's degree in Computer Science, with a focus on Mathematics and Physics, from Indiana University Southeast. Colton attended the university from 2010 to 2013.
