Alexey Chekanov is an experienced portfolio manager currently working at IT Smart Finance since September 2023. Previously, Alexey served as the Head of Portfolio Analytics at IDF Eurasia from March 2020 to August 2023, where responsibilities included portfolio analytics, credit policy, and IFRS9 provisions. Alexey also held the position of Lead Risk Analyst, focusing on credit policy optimization and risk reporting across Spain, Mexico, and Brazil. Earlier roles include Sales Force Efficiency Specialist at Bayer Pharmaceuticals and Business Analyst at Abbott, along with experience as an Analyst B2G at МегаФон and Deputy Director of Technical Laboratory at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. Alexey Chekanov earned a Master's degree in Applied Maths and Physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) from 2007 to 2013.
