Elizabeth Kepl has seven years of work experience. In 2015, they began as an intern at the University of Denver Center for Sustainability in the Food and Gardens Team. In 2016, they worked as an undergraduate researcher in Atmospheric Chemistry at the University of Denver and in the Food and Gardens Team at the University of Denver Center for Sustainability. In 2018, they were a Food Pantry Team Lead at the University of Denver Center for Sustainability while also working as an undergraduate researcher in Biochemistry at the University of Denver. In 2020, they began as a Research Scientist Engineer I at the Institute for Protein Design, University of Washington, where they worked on vaccine development and cage nanotechnology. Currently, they are an Associate Scientist at Icosavax, Inc.
Elizabeth Kepl attended the University of Denver from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. In 2017, they also attended the School for International Training for a program in Coastal Ecology and Natural Resource Management.
