Simon Van Eyndhoven is an Imaging Deep Learning Scientist at icometrix since July 2020, specializing in tensor-based blind source separation for the fusion of EEG and fMRI data to aid in presurgical epilepsy evaluation. Prior to this role, Simon worked as a Doctoral Researcher at KU Leuven from September 2015 to July 2020, focusing on integrating multimodal medical images. Additional experience includes serving as Corporate Relations Responsible for the National Committee on Biomedical Engineering and Vice President Corporate Relations at the Board of European Students of Technology, where collaboration with industry partners was a key focus. Simon's internship at Philips Innovation Services involved enhancing process control strategies for 3D printing. Simon holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from KU Leuven and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the same institution, complemented by education at ENSTA Paris.
