David O'Neil has extensive experience in the field of cybersecurity. David most recently served as the Chief Information Security Officer at iCIMS since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Vice President of Services at Abira Security from June 2021 to February 2022.
From September 2020 to June 2021, David O'Neil worked as a Cyber Security Leader at Arctic Wolf. David also owned CISO Expert, a company where they served as the Owner from May 2020 to June 2021.

In 2009, David obtained an A+ certification from CompTia. In the following year, they obtained certifications in Network+, Server+, and Security+ from the same institution.
David further expanded their IT knowledge by obtaining a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification in February 2012. David also achieved certifications as a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and a Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) in May and July of the same year, respectively. To enhance their understanding of information security, David attained a GIAC Certified ISO-2700 Specialist (G2700) certification from the Global Information Assurance Certification in August 2012.
In 2014, David received a Sourcefire Certified Incident Response Professional (SFCIRP) certification from Sourcefire. David then decided to pursue a Master's degree in Information Security and Assurance at Western Governors University in 2012.
