Casey Kelver has extensive work experience, beginning in 2003 when they served as a Psychological Operations Sergeant in the US Army. In 2007, they joined Spring Creek Construction as a Foreman/Superintendent. In 2013, they worked as a Supervisor at ACADEMI. From 2014 to 2021, they worked at TechnipFMC as a Field Service Engineer and ICE Thermal Harvesting as both an Operations Manager and Equipment Integration Manager.

Casey Kelver's education history includes earning a Bachelor of Arts in Middle Eastern Studies from The University of Texas at Austin between 2010 and 2012, and a Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University between 2018 and 2019. Additionally, Casey has obtained certifications from Six Sigma Global Institute (Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, obtained in August 2020), Falck (Bosiet, RigPass, SafeGulf), Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (LiveSafe), HubSpot (Social Media Marketing Certificate), Department of Homeland Security, Office of Inspector General (TWIC), and TechnipFMC (Umbilical Termination).
