Adel Drake is an experienced professional in the field of intellectual property, currently serving as the IP Operations Manager and IP Practice Specialist at Ice Miller LLP since March 2020. During the transition to a general practice law firm amid the pandemic, Adel played a crucial role in migrating the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Patent Group, successfully managing the transfer of over 2000 active cases and overseeing the filing of more than 600 Power of Attorneys in a short timeframe. Prior to this role, Adel held positions as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal at Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel LLP, an IP Practice Assistant at Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr LLP, and worked as a Patent Agent and Intern at the Law Office of Charles A. Wilkinson and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, respectively. Adel holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Mathematics from Lafayette College.
