Gary Hartman, PE, currently serves as the Director of Certification Engineering at ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES), where responsibilities include overseeing building product evaluation programs and supporting ICC NTA evaluation engineers. Previously, Gary held the position of Senior Evaluation Engineer at ICC NTA, LLC, where duties involved the development of product evaluation test plans. With experience as a Laboratory Support Engineer at Intertek, Gary managed programs for Florida Product Approvals and served as the Engineer of Record for various testing projects. As Director of Research and Development at Meadow Burke, Gary focused on innovative solutions for precast and concrete accessories. Earlier roles included Director of the Architectural Materials Laboratory at Intertek and Director of Materials and Component Testing at Architectural Testing, Inc. Gary’s career commenced as a Civil Engineer Manager at the PennDOT Evaluations and Research Section, managing experimental construction projects. Education includes dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Architectural Engineering and Civil Engineering from Drexel University.
