Philip M. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in innovation, product development, and technical consulting. Currently serving as VP of Innovation at Icarus Medical Innovations and VP of Product Development at kolibrilab, Philip provides expertise in commercialization of new technologies and spearheads initiatives in device design and manufacturing efficiency. Prior leadership roles include Director of Innovation at Klöckner Pentaplast, overseeing a global team in a major B2B sector, and Director/Research Professor at SMU Lyle School of Engineering, where Philip led an innovation lab. With past experience as VP North America R&D at Essilor and Lab Manager at 3M, Philip has a strong background in managing large teams, developing profitable consumer products, and implementing strategic initiatives. Philip holds a PhD in Materials Science from Cornell University and a BS in Physics from the University of Connecticut.
