João Marquês started their work experience at ATEC - Academia de Formação in 2020, where they worked in a role related to career change until March 2022. In 2022, they joined Adhesive / Design Studio ® as a Frontend Developer from January to March. João then moved on to 4ITFUTURE in May 2022, where they continued working as a Frontend Developer until July 2023. Currently, they are working at iCapital as a Frontend Developer starting from August 2023.

João Marquês completed their IT Technologies and Programming Specialist EQF Level 5 degree at ATEC - Training Academy from 2020 to 2022, specializing in computer programming. In addition to their degree, they obtained the Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) certification from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile in June 2020. Later on, in January 2023, they obtained a certification in Driven Design Methodologies from Actual Training. Furthermore, in May 2023, they acquired the EF SET English Certificate (C2 Proficient) from EF Standard English Test (EF SET).
