Joseph Kirschke is an experienced communications consultant and writer specializing in sustainability and energy policy. Currently at The World Bank, Joseph develops articles for the Climate Smart Mining initiative, focusing on the integration of clean energy in emerging markets. Previously, Joseph has held significant roles including Sustainability Writer-Editor at the International Copper Association, where work centered on sustainable copper mining, and Senior Congressional Research Analyst at the U.S. Department of Energy, focusing on emerging technologies for carbon management. Additional experience includes consulting for RESOLVE’s Energy Shift initiative and various editorial positions in prominent media outlets, contributing to discourse on international affairs and sustainability. Joseph holds a Bachelor's degree in Print Journalism and International Relations from Boston University.
