Smita Sinha is an experienced quality assurance professional with a career spanning over a decade in the technology sector. Since January 2016, Smita has been serving as a Quality Assurance Manager at IBM, previously holding the position of Software Development Engineer in Test. Prior to joining IBM, Smita worked at The Weather Channel in two different roles as a Software Development Engineer in Test, and also held the position of Automation Lead at Macy's. Smita's early career includes a significant role as Test Lead and Test Management Expert at Lloyds Banking Group. Smita possesses a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and is proficient in project management, test management, and quality audits. Smita holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Technology from Bharati Vidyapeeth, obtained in 2007.
