Mohamad Ali currently serves as the SVP & Head of IBM Consulting and previously held the role of COO at the same company since September 2023. In addition to these positions, Mohamad is a Board Member for Henry Schein and has been involved with the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council as a Board Member and prior Chairman since 2007. Notable past roles include Board Member and prior Lead Director at iRobot until July 2024, Board Member at Oxfam America until December 2023, and CEO of IDG, Inc. until June 2023. Mohamad also served as CEO of Carbonite from December 2014 to July 2019, and held board positions at City National Bank, HP, and Ember Corporation. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering/History from Stanford University, as well as a secondary education from Stuyvesant High School.
